Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)

Course Introduction

This course is aimed at anyone who requires a qualification in AED use. Learning AED skills is becoming a more important skill with numbers of units increasing in the community and workplace. They are easy to use with training and make a real difference in the chance of survival to someone in cardiac arrest.

No previous First Aid knowledge is necessary to attend an AED course. However, if you have already completed any other first aid course, you will understand the importance of using an AED promptly making this an ideal course to develop your skills. Renewal of your certificate requires completing the same course.
