Terms & Conditions

  • Our standard payment terms are that payment is taken at booking unless otherwise stated. If payment by invoice has been previously agreed, the payment needs to be made 30 days from the date of invoice or prior to the course start date, whichever is sooner. Full payment must be made at least 24 hours before the commencement of any training courses, unless by prior agreement. We accept Direct Bank Transfers, cash, credit cards, debit cards and PayPal payments. We do not accept cheques as a form of payment.
  • All practical assessments and written exams will have to be passed before certification can be issued. Candidates will not pass any courses where these are needed, and no refund will be issued after the course has been completed, if students do not pass either written exams, or practical assessments.
  • All certification remains the property of NH First Aid Training, no certification will be issued until all course fees, and open invoices have been paid in full, unless by agreement.
  • For courses that are booked and deposit or course fee is paid, if a candidate has requested to have his/her place moved to an additional course date, less than 14 days prior to original course start date, then a 25% admin fee will be charged. All transfers must be taken within a period of four months from the original course date.
  • If a candidate has paid a deposit or full course fee, and subsequently fails to attend on the course date, all monies will be lost and no refund will be given.
  • If you arrive late for a course or are absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable. To conform with Health & Safety Executive (HSE) requirements for statutory certificates, attendance at all sessions is mandatory.
  • On rare occasions we need to cancel a course, because circumstances outside our control may force us to do so. In this instance NH First Aid Training reserves the right to cancel and in this case will make every reasonable effort to re-arrange training to suit everyone concerned, or if this is not possible a full refund will be given.
  • Places on any courses cannot be guaranteed until all fees have been paid, unless by agreement.
  • Should circumstances mean that you have to cancel your course and are unable to transfer your booking to another date at the time of cancellation, the following charges will apply:
    - More than four weeks prior to the course start date – no charge
    - Two to four weeks prior to the course – 50% of the course fee
    - Less than two weeks prior to the course – full fee.
  • To be eligible to attend our two-day re-qualification course, candidates must present a valid First aid at work certificate.
  • All candidates must be aged 16 or over by the course commencement date.
  • All candidates are asked to bring a form of photo-ID to the start of their course, as this is a requirement of the certificating body.
  • Blended Paediatric (Part 2) courses will only be run as a group booking, unless by prior agreement.
